CONTROL & INSTRUMENTATION LABORATORY

Control & Instrumentation Laboratory is equipped with the facilities of AC & DC Bridges (Wheatstone Bridge, Maxwell Bridge, Kelvins Bridge, Schering Bridge), LVDT, Pressure transducer, Instrumentation Amplifier, A/D & D/A Converters, Calibration of Energy Meter, 3phase power and power factor meter measurement, Electric Heater, Thermometer, RTD, Strain gauge kit with hanging lever beam, Optical Sensor for speed measurement, Flow measurement trainer kit, P,PI, PID Controller, AC, DC Position Control System, Synchro-Transmitter- Receiver, transfer function of DC Generator, transfer function of DC Motor, multimeters, Matlab software Wooden work benches with three sets of sockets for the précised Instrument readings.

POWER ELECTRONICS LABORATORY

Power Electronics laboratory is equipped with the facilities of Device characteristics for SCR, MOSFET, TRIAC and IGBT kits, Single phase SCR based half controlled converter and fully controlled converter, MOSFET based step up and step down choppers, IGBT based single phase PWM inverter module, IGBT based three phase PWM inverter  module, SCR &TRIAC based 1 phase AC controller along with lamp, Dual regulated DC power supply, Cathode ray Oscilloscope, Isolation Transformer, Single phase Auto transformer,  Multimeter,Rheostats of various ranges, Analog Voltage and Ammeters, Special type of work benches designed with adjustable elevated platform for doing experiments and projects also it has an additional feature of  placing more number of equipments to be placed in a single table to perform a project or experiment.

ELECTRICAL MACHINES LABORATORY

Electrical Machines Laboratory is equipped with facilities such as  DC Shunt motor coupled with  Shunt generators, DC Shunt motor coupled with compound generators, DC shunt motor with loading arrangement, DC series motor with loading arrangement, DC compound motor with loading arrangement, DC shunt motor coupled with three phase alternator,  Single Phase transformer, Three phase transformer, Single phase Induction Motor, Three phase squirrel cage induction motor with loading arrangement, Rectifier unit , Single and Three phase auto transformer , Three phase slip ring Induction motor with loading arrangement, Three Phase synchronous motor with loading arrangement, Staters ( 2 point, 3 point, 4 point, DOL, Star -Delta, Rotor resistance Starter, Auto Transformer Starter), Single and Three phase rheostat loading, Three phase inductive loading, Digital and Analog tachometer
