About

The Department was established in the year 2008. The department offers four year undergraduate program that leads to B.Tech in Information Technology. The approved initial intake is 60.

The Department has excellent infrastructure facilities with a resourceful faculty team of academic repute having specialization in the areas like Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Networks, Soft Computing, Network Security, Big Data Analytics, Image Processing, Cloud Computing, Web Technologies and Mobile Computing.

The Department provides Technical Seminars, Guest Lectures, and Workshops, Skill Development Training on Recent trends to enrich and enhance the students Knowledge. The department has a tie up with IT Industry for the benefit of the students. Internships, Industrial visit National and International Conferences are organized. Tech Talk is conducted by Industry persons.

The Department conducts various co curricular activities, Technical events and Product Expo. We have a Coding and Puzzle club to bring out the talents of the students.

The department provides Placement training and we are proud to inform that the students are placed in HCL, CTS, WIPRO, TCS, Infosys, Robert Bosch, Maxell, Cape Gemini, Quadra Systems, Zoho and various other companies.
